| Precious Metal Clay Champleve Glass Pendant PMC is .999 pure silver which has been suspended in clay. I make a pattern in the clay and then fire it. The organic material burns away leaving my design captured in pure silver. I paint each pendant with powdered silica using a French enamleling tequnique called Champleve. I fire the pendant again which hardens the silica into glass. |

Enameling is a
wonderful way
to bring color into jewelry, but it is a intricate process that not many jewelers do anymore. Joining the very new PMC with very old enameling techniques is exciting to me. Please enjoy this unique, handmade peice of art. |
